Scholars expanded Thai vocabulary through influences from Pali, Sanskrit, and Chinese, while textbooks and dictionaries helped standardize spelling and grammar.
Modern Thai
During the reign of King Rama IX, the Royal Society continued developing official dictionaries, spelling, and new vocabulary. Today, Thai keeps evolving through education, technology, and global communication.
